Association work for members
For example, in the film industry, when artists or workers work on a project, unfortunately, the producer or the project coordinators withhold part of the payment of the workers or actors or are involved in some kind of exploitation. That is why when there is any payment-related issue or bad treatment of artists, interested persons can report to the Cine TV Artist Welfare Association.
An important work of the Cine TV Artist Welfare Association is to claim the due dues of its registered members from producers or casting coordinators legally if necessary. Whenever situations are serious, the Cine TV Artist Welfare Association may also initiate legal action against the erring producers.
Apart from dispute management and resolution, members holding the Cine TV Artist Card are eligible to attend certain workshops, festivals, entertainment shows, awards, and other events; and also to meet prominent personalities organized by their association. Such events are good platforms for learning and networking. This is especially important for film industry professionals.
